Ride Entry is OPEN to Enter! Please email us for any questions!!

Registering Online

The first thing you will need to do it go to NATRC.ORG .

Ride off mainpage.JPG

OR

Once on the Green RMS Website, you can Log-In with credentials to get started. This is where you make an account if you need to.

Whew! You made it - Now what?

Once Logged in, you will see the Main Menu. The left tabs allow you to see your registrations and scores. I feel that the My Registrations tab is a great place to double check any ride submission after fully submitting ride entry. ( I do it every time )

Also on the left and below the registration tab, the other stuff tab shows some helpful resources for using a calculator, time point to point reference, and travel mix.

In the center, it will show your username and steps 1, 2, and 3 for the registration to begin. This is the most important area of information.

On the far right, there is a dark green box that can expand more information about any ride selected on step 1.

You will then have to select your ride, participant, and horse from the drop down options. Once those have been filled out, you will select your desired division. On EVERY page you progress through, review any and all information displayed; for example, see the top left box pictured below.

Note that you will only see this red paragraph if you are not a member of NATRC at the time of registration.

AA = 3 days of open competition

A = 2 days of Open/Novice/CP Competition

B = 1 day of Open/Novice/CP/Led Competition

      (B1 = Saturday, B2 = Sunday)

Once you have selected your division and class, it will display below with prices associated with the division and class chosen. NM cost is for a non-member cost. This can be removed if member status is applied for this submission. Please see the NATRC page on website for details to become a member.

FOR RIDERS NEEDING TO SELECT DISTANCE ONLY

Please notice that for DISTANCE ONLY (DO) riders, this is where you would select this option.

Remember that Horse is Scored Separately from The Rider, so there are two check boxes for this.

If you select the horse as distance only, the rider is automatically considered distance only as well and it is automatically grayed out in the check box.

If you select the rider as distance only, the horse may still retain placing and awards for event. â€‹

Why is this even an option??? It is because sometimes the obstacle difficulty is too great - for example, the horse may be young, learning, or new. For the experienced NATRC rider, this would be an advantage over the fellow novice competitors in the horsemanship scoring/placing category. This can be utilized for experienced riders choosing less mileage/difficulty that are required to eliminate themselves from placing status due to prior records. More details about this are discussed on the NATRC Website Page as well as the Rulebook for NATRC

Note that you will only see this red paragraph if you are not a member of NATRC at the time of registration.

Note that you will only see this red fee if you are not a member of NATRC at the time of registration.

Waiver tab needs to be selected and addressed prior to building the ride entry.

You will then select Build Ride Entry Record.

The Additional Charges page will display, allowing you to add any extra items. This page also includes a comment section where you can specify any food allergens, health conditions, or any other information you believe would be helpful for us to know.

----- READ CAREFULLY! -----

Open, Novice, and CP will have a meal included with their entry Friday and Saturday night.

Please include any additional meals as needed.

Leisure Division riders will have one meal included with their entry. Please indicate in the comment section which day you would like your meal. You can select Friday or Saturday night. There will be no meal offered Sunday.

Leisure Division is also offering a discount for any rider entered in both B1 (Saturday) and B2 (Sunday) events. You may select the discount only if you are registering for both B1 & B2 days. If cancellation of second day is before 5/15 – full refund minus the discount, after 5/15 - $65 fee retained per entered day, no show – no refund.

This point is usually where people stumble in submitting their online entry form. My advice is to breeze over the sentence about deleting the entry, it's talking about the next page. Register another rider is only if you are registering multiple people for NATRC events that are under your account. This usually pertains to minors or people already in your RMS system. Think of this as the shopping cart review prior to checkout. It's asking you if you want to add more entries to this or any other ride at this time prior to finalizing and payment. If you are satisfied with your selection, select open, do not select return. (FYI: The Return button is not the same as enter - Return button navigates you previous one page in this sequence.) If you choose to select more entries, repeat previous steps until you get to this point again and then proceed.

This is your final page of checkout. You have the option to delete any entry by clicking on the red "X" to the left of any entry. You will see all your information to review across the horizontal bar. Below that shows costs and the itemized list making up your total. To submit you will click the cost button of choice. In this example below, you have the option to select the deposit or the total cost for this ride. You see once again that return button is tempting you, but it only goes to the previous page in sequence.

Once you have submitted your ride entry, you may end back on the main page and find yourself trying to double check that your submission went through. You can find it here under My Registrations tab. It is then subdivided between current and past submissions.
