Come ride the Virginia Highlands and Iron Mountain Horse trails!
Unleash Your Inner Equestrian with Mule Lady's Mountain Meander. Whether you are a tried-and-true competitor of NATRC or are just visiting, there is something for everyone at this event! We will have senior mentors, three divisions of distance over two days of competition, as well as drop in daily events over both days of competition. Not ready to ride? Come join us along the trail in our P&R crew and help competitors along their journey to a completion. Not feeling adventurous – no worries! Come join us every evening for fellowship and a meal and hear tales of the trail that day. Explore the beauty of THE VIRGINIA HIGHLANDS!
This is a challenging but very enjoyable mountain ride. You will be riding primarily the Virginia Highlands Horse Trail and the Iron Mountain Trail with several connecting trails. Terrain is mountainous with several long climbs as well as great places to let your equine move out at a great pace. Yeehaw!
